BEST is the Standard…

At Oxford High School we…

We support our students in their learning JOurneY to become Leaders Of Their Own Learning with learning targets, checks for understanding, using data with students, models/critique/descriptive feedback, student-led conferences, celebrations of learning, digital portfolios, and standard referenced grading. We encourage and support the use of Quality Questioning to partner with students to enhance classroom dialogue, formative feedback, and student learning. Our work with Foundations and DSC supports our students when it comes to meeting behavioral expectations by providing our students with clear expectations for success and the resources and support to meet those expectations.
